First of all, let me start by giving a warm thank you to those who came along to support the K-Line Ag & Cowra Machinery Centre Drive Day – it was an awesome success! More than 100 visitors came to experience and watch the products in action, some coming from as far away as Bega, Cooma and Narrabri.
We launched and showcased three new products on the day:
|Manufactured for breaking hard pans and deep tillage applications, this machine has deep ripping tines to break up compacted soils to approx 600mm. When faced with soil compaction issues, the MaxRipper is your answer for superior root structure, greater nutrient uptake, better moisture availability and ultimately, healthier plant development for higher yields.||The Delta HayPro is the newest addition to our rake range – heavy duty but still cost effective, this rake minimises hay contamination, leaves a uniform windrow and is gentle on the leaf and hay, allowing you to make the highest quality hay possible. Shielded reels allow for easier raking in windy conditions, and the lift and carry reel action allows for very gentle raking, to conserve as much leaf as possible.||Developed in response to a requirement in the tillage market for a more cost effective tillage machine, our FlexiMulch® combines many of the signature Speedtiller features with a lighter frame, providing a sturdy but economical option for use in shallower mulching applications.|
Demonstrating these machines gave an opportunity for farmers to speak to K-Line staff or dealers about any product questions they had, and to do training sessions on the best way to setup and run the machines so that they perform to their utmost ability.
As luck would have it…
For some of us anyway, participating in the prize draw always adds an element of fun to a show day of any kind. There’s something about that feeling you get when receiving the unexpected that nothing else can replace! This year our team came up with 2 gifts
1st prize: a Waeco cooler, and 2nd prize: a Tramontina BBQ set
First prize went to Stephen Smith of Young, and second prize went to Henry Nation, also from Young.
Congratulations, we hope you keep your drinks cold and your steaks flipped!
The Wow Moment
No doubt about it, product demos win every time! There’s something about seeing a large machine in action that pulls people in. If I was going to take a guess at why, I’d liken it to test driving a car. Nothing beats that feeling of acceleration, the pure power that is released in the engine at the push of a pedal – even when watching, you can feel the power being released. It’s not so much about the seeing, it’s about the feeling. Unless you’re a drone of course, in which case it’s all about the seeing…
…that’s why we called product demos our Wow Moment.
Last but not least – Thank You!
To Bear and Tracey, for lending us the use of their paddock for the day. To Farmpix Photography, who attended the day and shot some great drone footage. To the many team members behind the scenes at Cowra Machinery Centre and K-Line, and to everyone that came along. We hope you found the day valuable and enjoyable, and look forward to seeing you again at our next event.
