A Proven Investment for Conservation Farming The K-Line 7000 Series Modular Coil Packer has proven to be one of the most effective means of packing a seed bed to improve germination. Moisture is retained through the firming and sealing of the seed bed and the pressing gives optimum seed to soil contact even in the presence of trash and stubble.7000 Series Coil Packers condition the soil so it is friable and receptive to addtional rainfall. They also leave a herringbone pattern to control wind and water erosion. These two features help to prevent the ‘crusting’ and ‘washing’ or ‘scaring’ commonly associated with the soild drum and roller.

Used in conservation and conventional tillage systems, the Coil Packers are a great advantage when used for seed bed preparation, seed establishment and stubble management. 7100 Series Triple Hitch Coil Packer Unit The 7100 Series Triple Hitch Coil Packer Unit is a simple system that allows towing of three 7000 Series Coil Packers in tandem, ideal for use behind a seed drill up to 6.4m (21’) wide. Pins and towing points are provided for towing the three coils ‘inline’ to narrow the width when transporting. K350 Harrow Coil Packer Bar The K350 Harrow Packer Bar is a versatile unit that can be used in conjunction with a seed-drill or as a stand alone unit for - preparing seed beds, incorporating chemical or small seeds and breaking down stubbles. The K250 Packer Bar is a very similar machine, although does not incorporate Harrows - heavy duty 45mm x 45mm coil packers only. The K350 has 45mm x 45mm heavy duty coil packers in conjunction with K2000 Rotary Harrows or 1000 Series Spring Tine Harrows.
