HOW THE K-LINE 2700 TRASHCUTTER SYSTEM WORKS
• Trash is laid across the front of self-sharpening Coulters; then cut by the Coulters and spread evenly on the soil surface • Adjustable cutting angle and down pressure • Also available is the 2800 Series Trashcutter which is adjusted to give a full cut-out of weeds at a shallow depth (hydraulically controlled depth) as well as straight-line cutting • The patent-pending design (developed in conjunction with agronomists & farmers) lays the stubble to one side • Trash is sliced & bruised into short lengths with self-sharpening discs • 130mm disc spacing • Accurate depth control • Low power requirements (approx. 7-9kw/m on level country) • Less soil compaction • More stubble crown remains in the soil, which gives a key for stubble retention & less wind erosion • Increase organic matter in your soil • Trash gives protective barrier to retain moisture • Lower fertilizer & chemical costs
