In conservation and conventional tillage systems, the K-Line 2500 Harrow Packer Bar is ideal for seed establishment, seed bed preparation and stubble management. For seed bed establishment and preparation, the soil is levelled and conditioned by the harrows. The heavy 45mm coil packers then firm and seal the soil for good seed to soil contact and conserving of valuable moisture. The resulting soil condition is receptive to additional moisture and has the herringbone pattern to reduce erosion. The 2500 Harrow Packer Bar can also be used with or without coil packers for stubble management. Stubble knocked down and bruised leads to faster breakdown of stubble residue. Other uses are pre-emergent chemical incorporation and establishment of small seed crops e.g. canola.
